The menu and location rank high on the list of important details, but there’s another that is equally important. Choosing a wedding photographer can be a daunting task. Most people begin the process with little idea of what they are looking for. They may scour the local yellow pages for a wedding photographer but this really isn’t the best method of choosing someone who is going to capture images of the most important day of your life.
One of the best ways to choose a wedding photographer is by word of mouth. If you know someone who was married recently ask them about which wedding photographer they used. Ask to meet with them and explain that you’d like to see their portfolio and discuss the possibility of having them work with you on your wedding. An experienced wedding photographer will welcome the chance to meet with you and will suggest a time that is convenient.
